The research of human rights is a part of the activities with which Banjaluka Centre for Human Rights (BCE) wishes to highlight the importance of human rights in the entire legal and social system of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
BCE conducts research on the state of human rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina, human rights violations, possibilities for progress in implementation and observance of human rights, and the representation of human rights studies at law schools. BCE works by continuously monitoring the observance of human rights and violations thereof, writing comparative studies on European standards in the field of human rights and comparisons with those in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and by evaluating the materials being taught in schools, and by examining students’ and citizens’ knowledge on human rights and conducting statistical measurements of relevant indicators showing to what extent the human rights and the respect for human rights are present in the entire society.
